Our licensed clinicians are out-of-network with all other insurance plans. We will provide you with a Super Bill in order for you to submit to your insurance provider to receive out-of-network reimbursement.

How much do I pay if my insurance is filed through Strickland Counseling?

• Your coverage depends on the plan you’ve selected. You will want to review your plan to see what your mental health coverage is for Individual and Family Therapy.

• Calling the mental health line on the back of your card can help clarify your coverage. Some helpful questions to ask are:
  1. Does my plan cover individual/family therapy under this provider?
  2. Are these billing codes covered under therapy with this provider; 90791 and 90837 (these are the most common codes billed but not complete list).
  3. How much is my copay?
  4. How much is my in-network/ out-of-network deductible?
  5. How many therapy sessions will my plan cover?
  6. Does my plan cover telehealth services?

Cancel and Reschedule Appointments

If an appointment needs to be rescheduled or canceled, please let us know as soon as possible, being mindful of others who may need the appointment time.

Payments for missed appointments or late cancellations are normally collected with your credit card on file. Please note that missed appointments or late cancellations fees are not submitted to or reimbursed by your insurance.

If you missed an appointment or cancelled less than 24 hours notice, the following missed appointment fee will be charged:

• 1st missed appointment fee: Grace
• 2nd missed appointment fee: $100
• 3rd missed appointment fee:  $125
• 4th missed appointment fee: We will discuss what is the next best step.  We may need to move your appointment day or time to accommodate your schedule.
